Description
The Guardian, Ancestor to the Perseus, was a troll of taboo. She knew nothing of prejudice or hate, and dedicated her existence to helping any and everyone who needed her. A protector to the weak, her care knew no bounds. Not regarded as being maternal, The Guardian was more or less a knight in mint-blood armor, summoned by a troll in desperate help. While her actions were harshly frowned upon by Highblood's, her chivalry were generally left alone, albiet the few instances where she had to defend herself against a tyrant.
The Guardian came and went, thinking herself far too busy to put down her sword and actually muster up feelings to pity a troll. She had already accepted her loneliness, and never thought to change it...until a strange series of events caused her to meet her Matesprit. After that, they were nearly inseparable, unless The Guardian was called to aid a troll.
In the shadows, there had been a growing plot to remove The Guardian. Her actions were becoming more and more bold against tyrannical Highblood's, and they were growing in rage at her display of arrogance to them. Taking matters into their own hands, a few arranged a terrible end to her legacy.
Arranging for a group of Lowblood's to call to The Guardian, the Highblood's took her absence from her Matesprit's side to abduct the troll, leaving a ransom note that The Guardian must present herself to them without a fuss, or else they would kill her beloved Matesprit.
Chivalry and pity ran deep in her veins, and The Guardian could do little but comply. Offering herself over to the band of Highblood's, she put up no resistance to their torturous means. While her spirit remained strong, her body was beaten and broken, serving no other purpose but a shell to her roaring conscience. That is, until the Highblood's said they had swindled The Guardian, and had taken the liberty of offing her beloved Matesprit.
This catapulted The Guardian over the edge, her mind slipping into a darkness that would never be able to be revived. It was a mistake on the Highblood's part, for she escaped her tower of a cell, and took on a new goal in life. No longer would she be The Guardian she once was, coming to the aid and having mercy on the weak. She took on a new identity...The Betrayer. She vowed to smite down any and every troll that dare crossed her, all in an act of vengeance of her thought to be culled Matesprit.
//Well, it's kinda hard to do this when you don't have all the character's needed ;W; Waaaa. Feel free to offer possible Ancestor Matesprits, tho I would prefer if it carried on to present day as well...or, whatever. But yeah, this is Gorgon's Ancestor, before she became the mad, psychotic version known as The Betrayer...who will be posted eventually. FFFF. //
